Two nights in Warsaw with sightseeing and time at leisure begins your Eastern Europe adventure. Continue to the once divided city of Berlin. Your two night stay includes sightseeing and time to explore on your own. Then on via Dresden to Prague, the “Golden City.” Sightseeing shows you the highlights, then you have free time for last minute shopping and exploring on your own.

These are simply ideas to inspire you. This is just a suggested itinerary and you can switch it up any way you want, more or less meals, different cities and/or sightseeing based on your group or organization’s interests. DAY 1 ARRIVE IN WARSAW, POLAND: You will be transferred to your hotel. There is time to relax before meeting your fellow travelers and Travel Director for a Welcome Dinner.

DAY 2 WARSAW SIGHTSEEING & FREE TIME: A sightseeing tour with a Local Guide starts with a drive along the Royal Route, from Castle Square to Lazienki Park and Palace. Pass the Palace of Science and Culture (known as the “Wedding Cake”), the Saxon Gardens, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and more. Continue with a walking tour of the Old Town and Old Market Square, and see St. John’s Cathedral. The rest of the day is free.

DAY 3 WARSAW / BERLIN, GERMANY: Heading west, stop in Poznan for an orientation tour of this charming town. Then continue to Berlin, Germany’s capital and largest city.

DAY 4 BERLIN SIGHTSEEING & FREE TIME: Your morning sightseeing tour with a Local Guide features views of the Reichstag, Schloss Charlottenburg and the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. The afternoon is free to explore this once divided city on your own.

DAY 5 BERLIN / PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC: Travel south, continuing your journey via Dresden. On an orientation tour here, view the Zwinger Palace and Semper Opera House. Afterward, continue to the Czech capital of Prague.

DAY 6 PRAGUE SIGHTSEEING & FREE TIME: On a sightseeing tour with a Local Guide, see Wenceslas Square and Castle Square. Next, on a walking tour, visit the Cathedral of St. Vitus, the Old Royal Palace and the Golden Lane with the Daliborka Tower. Cross Charles Bridge and walk through the old quarter to view the Jewish Ghetto, Town Hall and the Astronomical Clock. The rest of the day is free.
