DAY 1 ARRIVE IN DUBLIN, IRELAND: Welcome to Dublin! At 2 p.m. a city tour includes a visit to St. Patrick’s Cathedral and, at Trinity College, see the ornate 8th-century Book of Kells. This evening, get to know your traveling companions while enjoying a Welcome Dinner in your hotel. Hotel Name: The Davenport Hotel. (D)

DAY 2 DUBLIN / WATERFORD / CORK: Travel to the 6th-century monastic ruins at Glendalough. On to Waterford to visit the House of Waterford Crystal for a visual journey of over 225 years of glassmaking, a Local Specialty. Then head to Cork where you will meet with a local historian who will share tales of the sea and Cork’s dramatic history, remembering the sinking of the Lusitania, and Cobh, the last port of call for the RMS Titanic. DAY 3 CORK / COBH / BLARNEY / KILLARNEY: Today visit Cobh and the Heritage Centre, bringing the story of emigration to life. Then on to Blarney for a visit to Blarney Castle with its magical stone that gives the gift of eloquence for a kiss. Continue to Killarney.

DAY 4 RING OF KERRY EXCURSION: Travel the road that winds around the beautiful Iveragh Peninsula, better known as the Ring of Kerry. Stopping at Torc Waterfall, there is a chance to join a leisurely guided hike. For those who do not want to join the hike, the motorcoach will return you to Killarney. NOTE: The hike travels over wooded paths and lakeshore trails. While there are no mountains to climb, walkers need to be fit, wear good walking shoes or boots, sunscreen and raingear. Approx. 3 miles/2 hours. Enjoy dinner in your hotel tonight.

DAY 5 KILLARNEY / CLIFFS OF MOHER / LIMERICK: Head to Foynes and the Flying Boat Museum. Foynes is also the birthplace of Irish Coffee. Savor a cup of this Local Specialty, then on to the Cliffs of Moher. End the day in Limerick. This evening, your group might like to include an optional Medieval Castle banquet. Hotel Name: The Strand. (B)
